Stylish Home in Mt. Washington with Private Deck

Nice as an alternative to a hotel for a family weekend Positive: Liked the home and all my family enjoyed this stay much better than a hotel. Negative: The neighborhood was not conducive to any parking for this house. It's in a residential neighborhood and the people who live there don't want out-of-towners using their street parking. They put up parking cones so that you can't park on this street. We couldn't get the AC to work in the third floor rooms. Therefore, I had to sleep in the living room and we couldn't use the third floor at all. I am in property management so I did my best to get the Honeywell panel to adjust anything for the third floor. It's advertised as a five bedroom, but if you can't heat or cool the third floor, then maybe only advertise the use of three bedrooms on the second floor. Or, make sure that the HVAC can be adjusted for that third floor. I think that some supplemental lighting would be nice in the kitchen. I turned the light on for the microwave, to try to light the space in the kitchen from the huge overhead light fixture. The plug-in night light wasn't enough to light up the kitchen, so it was all or nothing. The yard in the back and front were not mowed. The garbage from the house on the left was blown into the yard of this rental and there was no way to sit outside on the "deck" in the backyard with the overgrown yard/weeds and the adjacent property's trash. Overall- we really liked the place and I would rent it again if all five rooms were able to be used. I had to sleep on the futon in the living room because we could not cool the third floor. I paid for the house, so I was the one who couldn't use a bed/room.
